LTC (Ret) James Gigrich, U.S. Army
Jim has served as a member of the board of America's Huey 091 Foundation since 2008 and is a tireless advocate for all our military, our veterans and their families, living and working in the Washington D.C. area. He also volunteers with the "Snowball Express", an organization that is dedicated to the well-being of the children of our fallen heroes since 9/11.
Jim was selected for numerous challenging positions around the globe while in the Army. He has lived and operated in numerous locations around the globe to include Savannah, Georgia, Hawaii, Great Britain, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, UAE, South Africa, and Morocco to name a few. In 1998, Jim branch transferred to the Army Acquisition Corps to pursue a career in Army Program Management. Jim left the Army in June 2006 after 20 years of active duty service to the nation.
In 2007, Jim joined Agilent Technologies and was named Director of Government Affairs and National Programs. Jim and his wife reside in Lorton, Virginia with their 4 sons.
Jim holds a Master’s Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the Cranfield Institute of Technology, Great Britain and a Master’s Degree in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia.
Jim’s military decorations include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), Joint Service Commendation Medal; Army Commendation Medal (2 awards), Joint Service Achievement Medal (2 awards); Army Achievement Medal (3 awards), Joint Meritorious Unit Award (2 awards); Army Superior Unit Award (2 awards); National Defense Service Medal (2 awards); Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Parachutist Badge; and various service ribbons.
