With three decades of management experience in the private sector, Donna Lochow has directed professional services, project management, solution architecture, and sales organizations. Most of her career has been with AT&T, Southwestern Bell and NCR. She has strong leadership skills and a broad range of computer networking and information systems expertise.
After retiring in 2007, Donna took her skills to the non-profit environment. The Lakeway Patriot Fund was formed in the summer of ’07 and Donna is one of the original members. The purpose of the organization was to provide iBOT Mobility Devices to soldiers seriously wounded in the Global War on Terror. The iBOT was a Johnson & Johnson product. It is a high tech piece of equipment that allows an otherwise disabled person to climb and descend stairs, elevate to eye level with a standing person and is all terrain.
From the start, the Patriot Fund was always closely aligned with the America’s Huey 091 Foundation and in the last few years became a branch of the Huey 091 Foundation. Donna holds the title of Director of Veteran Resources since 2008. She has had a big hand in fundraising and vetting soldiers for iBOTs and other high tech mobility equipment.
Donna is also very involved with Emmaus Catholic Church and is on the board of the Lakeway Associates of Seton Hospital.
Donna was born in New York City and raised in New Jersey. She has a B.S. in business administration with a computer science minor. Donna and her husband John moved to Austin, Texas in 2004 and are enjoying life on Lake Travis.
